I don't think it's nice to finght with Chinese goods in such a way, but I admire the reaction of the Chinese immigrants in Germany. Not in sense that they should threten the designer, Philipp Plein, but fighting against discrimination.

Commercials
Back 6 years ago
I am watching what I was saying in front of the camera for 20 min 6 years ago. It's actually not very bad, but very funny. Question: What is the most important in life? Answer: moral tranquility, LOL! I've just realised how different I was:) I think I should watch it every 5 years at least.
Then I decided to keep watching videos, and I found one which was filmed ... 8 years ago (I am really getting old!). The funny thing is that there I am more like I am now, I guess just because it was with my class and I was rather relaxed (in the first one it was an interview).

Harry Potter
I've watched Harry Potter last movie last week. And some scenes reminded me about sth what happens in Belarus. Thretened teachers, forbidden student unions. I've just read article about the same impression. So maybe they should forbid this movie in Belarusian cinemas as it can show that at the end mad rulers are off!

FaceBook is growing
Today I read a story about Mark Zuckerberg who is the guy of the Facebook. It's interesting to observe how Facebook develops. Although, I am personally not in favour of adding many fun stuff things, like playing Zombie, for example:) I was also surprised that there is a lawsuit against the Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg. Despite some negative imagies, Facebook is so far the best social network.

Spending less but living at large
This summer I have to face the reality that I am a post-graduate student on vacation, without full-time job and consequently without permanent income. Well, in this situation it is quite wise to start thinking what is the best way to spend my savings which are not huge (at least I have some:))
Just in time I came across this article:101 ways to trim your budget. It's fun, creative and quite practical. Sure, first, you have to calculate and plan, what you have and what you need. So, you create some limits for your budget. Here it is really important to be realistic, or you will be in trouble really soon if you underestimate your wants and overestimate your finances. And then the fun part starts, you try to stick to the plan and to be creative with shopping and savings on different things. Especially I liked one when one is adviced to wait untill the washing mashine is full and only then to wash, and even better it is advised to wash in cold water (although don't you have to put more washing substances?).
Wow, I really enjoyed this article. One of the advices I've just implemented. I've redecorated one of the rooms using the wallpapers which were waiting for ages to be used and now they really look fun. Definitely, have a look at this article!

City mood
After almost two weeks in the city I made a walk today, actually few, but the most important is that I saw my city again. And... I am very optimistic now, despite the fact that I was waiting for the last tram which never came for almost 50 min and took taxi at the end. Ok, let's start from the beginning.
During the day I was in the park with my god son, then we walked through central part of the main avenue, Skaryna or Independence as it's called now (what can you do if some presidents do not like the first publisher...). An then suddenly I'd noticed a red-white-red flag at the top of the building. People were passing by, nobody cared. But I was sooooo happy, I took many pics, which I will upload later.
After midnight I was going home and I was in a different part of the same avenue. I looked up to check the time at the top of the bulding where there is a digital watch... and there was another big white-red-white flag. It's difficult to explain the optimism I feel. It's not just a flag, it's a symbol that in the society despite the general pessimism there are people who believe in changes and do sth for it. So I am not alone:) THAT's inspiring!
Then I talked to some guys on the stop who were trying to get to know me. The usual bla bla bla was even funny and their conclusions about politics especialy. You don't even need to study political science to know them, you just go and talk to people. People do not think in general terms, they want to feel good and they are afraid of changes which will bring something unknown, although they don't like what they have now. It's worth watching the film Ploshcha (the square) to see those people (an example of an "oppositional village" in it).
Stay cool and keep believing in good!

Beer issue
Today I went for an evening in the city with my old uni friends. We decided to sit in some nice place close to the river and to drink beer (from bottles). BUT, I forgot that it's forbidden to sell beer after 11 p.m. We were in a shop 5 min to 11 p.m. and we managed to buy it, but it's soooo funny and stupid this rull. I almost forgot about it. There will be photo later. (I am charging the batteries).

Back to the Erfurt factory
I was uploading some photos to IstockPhoto and found this article about the Erfurt factory. I wrote about it last year, when I came back from Germany. It was really interesting place, I think one could say that even places get what they are worth of or better their are paid off for their role in history.
Cheap country
I laugh when people tell me that it is so cheap to live in Belarus. Well, I went to the supermarket few days ago. I bought few small thigs for myself and some food. I spent 92000 Br, or sth about 35 EUR. Not a lot? Hmm, my mom gets 320000 Br per month, she is a pensioner and it is not the lowest pension. To understand the dramatism of Belarusian situation you should compare prices (same level as in Austria for example) and salaries. For example editor of a newspaper can get just 200000 Br, what is about 100 USD, it is really difficult to survive then. On the other hand of course there are people whose monthly salary is higher that 500 EUR, but their total number would be not more that 10-15% of working Belarusians...
Bringing innovation to education
Today I spent my day with my God son, he is only 5 years old, and as every child he is really keen to find out new things. But sometimes it is difficult to motivate him to learn something that is less exciting than playing games:) I think sometimes it is wise to use the methods brought to us by modern world. For example for my kid I could find an innovative tutor, like Score offers. I was surprised that they offer a personal coach from the age of 4! Wow! I've discovered this temr when I was 22! That's a huge step ahead.

People like saving money
But they also like spending them. How can you combine it? In the mordern world people create different fun marketing strategies! Like coupon codes which you can use while purchaising online. There you go, you want to buy, lets say or write :) you want to buy a new computer, then you look for example for DELL deals. As a result you can buy a new PC/laptop and do it cheaper! Easy and fast;)

European films promotion
Today I discovered several short promo clips of European cinematography. I was surprised as I watched most of the films used for those films. I especially liked this one:
Though not all of them are with very interesting plots, but still they are nice and tender, and European;) Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Gegen die Wand, The Girl with a Pearl Earring and others.

Slavianski Bazar
Every year we have this biggerst music festival in Belarus, which aims to bring people from different 'Slavic' countries. And there you go. I am watching the opening concert now with different famoust artists as well as those who participated in Eurovision this year. The Serbian winner, the Ukrainian Sierduchka...
The last one is my star today, i.e. Andrei Danilko, who is playing role of that strange woman. Well, I will explain why. At the opening ceremony of the GREAT even the present 'president' is present (too many pres... I guess). So, Andrei today was FLIRTING from the stage with mr. L, using very funny phrases, like: "I want to take picture with you with my mobile's camera", "you waved me first and I am coming to you", "do I look nice?" (checks his body and looks at mr. L), and then "where is your bayan?". After the first sond he starts the second and goes to the public, and to THE president. There they dance together a bit, the president KISSES Andrei=Serdiuchka, Andrei ask people to applaud for the nice dance of the president. Then he says sth like "good buy and good luck" (the president hasn't got the joke yet), going away from the stage he said "Poka" (or Buy). Well, IT WAS REALLY FUNNY, and he got some jokes at the end as HE became sad.
